Four Decades in the Making
Our roots
Founded in Glasgow in 1986, known then as Stephen Alexander Ltd, we were from the outset a family-run wholesale jewellery business with a clear focus - supplying Scottish & Celtic Inspired Sterling Silver jewellery to independent retailers across Scotland.
Growing the range
As demand grew, so did our ranges. We expanded beyond our Celtic roots to build a portfolio that now spans Scottish heritage, Charles Rennie Mackintosh, Religious, and Masonic collections, alongside our own custom-designed range, Donna Ricardo - developed in response to what our retail partners told us they needed and couldn't find elsewhere.
A new chapter
In 2026 the business is passing to the next generation of the same family, who grew up working alongside their parents in the trade from an early age. Polly & Co. is the name they've brought to it - a fresh identity that carries forward everything built since 1986. The experience, the relationships, the ranges, and the commitment to the trade remain exactly as they were.
