Sterling Silver Celtic Knot Pendant - 23mm (SP2205)
The Trinity knot is one of the most deeply rooted symbols in Scotland's Celtic tradition. Its three interlocking arcs a continuous, unbroken form that has appeared in Pictish stonework, illuminated manuscripts and Scottish metalwork for over a millennium. The four-leaf clover, meanwhile, carries its own distinct strand of Celtic folk symbolism, associated with good fortune and the natural world across Scotland and Ireland. Bringing the two together within a single piece draws on both the spiritual geometry of knotwork and the organic, earthbound quality of the clover form.
This pendant presents an open Trinity knot as its primary frame; three large interlocking arcs forming the characteristic three-lobed structure, with the continuous strand resolving cleanly at each junction. The outer form is rendered in 925 sterling silver with a high mirror polish, its lines smooth and well-defined. Seated at the centre point where the three arcs converge, a four-petalled clover or flower motif is finished in rose gold plating, its rounded petals slightly domed and polished to a warm, contrasting lustre. The interplay between the cool silver of the knotwork frame and the warm rose gold of the central motif gives the piece a two-tone quality that distinguishes it from the standard silver range. A smooth bail connects the pendant above.
At 23mm x 23mm and approximately 4.8g, it sits with solid, balanced presence. 925 sterling silver with rose gold plated clover detail. Bail fitting.
