Sterling Silver & Blue CZ Charles Rennie Mackintosh Heart Pendant (RMSP6118)
Charles Rennie Mackintosh was a gifted artist, designer, craftsman and architect, one of the defining figures of the Glasgow Style and the flowering of Art Nouveau in Scotland. As part of the celebrated group known as 'The Four', his influence on decorative arts remains unmatched.
This heart pendant, crafted in solid Sterling Silver, wraps Mackintosh's design language in one of jewellery's most enduring forms. Two broad, sculpted leaves curve outward from the top while a sinuous open frame sweeps down to a delicate spiral at the base; fluid, organic and full of movement. At the centre, a small geometric grid detail provides the characteristic architectural counterpoint, with a round blue cubic zirconia set just below, its cool brilliance drawing the eye to the heart of the piece.
Romantic in form, timeless in inspiration.
Approximately 23mm x 18mm, weight 1.9g.
